A young woman enters a dance hall. Alone, facing the mirrored wall. She starts her dance exercises. She dances. She speaks. Just like every day? To wohm?  About what? Why? Die Leiter (The ladder) is a lyrical reflection and a metaphor for the possibility – or impossibility – to overcome and break free from the habits of everyday life and the circles of life through a discipline of the mind.
